We caught up with Pete from Midas at NAMM 2025, who introduced us to the new HD-Air digital mixer. This compact yet powerful console, incorporating technology from Midas' larger consoles, can handle 384 inputs from a stage and offers 96 local inputs. The HT-Air is notable for integrating classic TC Electronic effects, such as VSS3 and 2290, from the renowned System 6000, now included at no additional cost. It features a modern, multi-touch user interface and support for up to four fader bays, offering versatility for both studios and live settings. Pete highlighted the mixer's advanced connectivity with StreamDecks and a new Cobalt interface for enhanced sound check and playback options. With high-quality mic pre's and a 64-bit mix engine, the HT-Air aims to consolidate studio and live equipment into one reliable unit. The mixer is expected to ship after Chinese New Year with a base price around $20,000.
