NAMM 2025: Poly Effects Ample

At this year's NAMM, we caught up with Loki from Poly Effects*, who introduced us to their newest creation, the *Ample amp modeling pedal. Building on previous releases like Verbs and Flat 5, the Ample pedal features an impressive 56 amp models, catering to a range of styles from Clean to Crunch and the metal-inspired Destroy, as well as Classic USA, Classic UK, and Gen X amps from the '80s and '90s.

Loki emphasized its stereo input and output capabilities, allowing for different amps to be used on each channel, which is particularly appealing for synth enthusiasts. Connectivity is enhanced with TRS jacks and full MIDI control, letting you manage amp selection and levels seamlessly. Using artificial neural networks and a powerful onboard NPU, the pedal offers a high-quality sound without needing any external software. Ample is available now at a price of $399 USD.
