September 2023 - Pilot Mountain summit

We ended September with a 4.2 mile out and back (8.4 total) to summit Pilot Mountain from Daniel Ridge Trailhead. This beautiful peak is on the Art Loeb Trail and is just over 5,000’ above sea level. The kids did great and squeezed this adventure into less than 4.5 hours with breaks included. Beast mode!
