Eastern NC fire experts remind Daylight Saving Time can also be smoke detector checking time

Sunday, Mar. 9, 2025 was the beginning of Daylight Saving Time and other than setting your clocks ahead, emergency officials are reminding people to take the time to check their smoke detectors.
