Raspberries growing nicely in my B&Q £1 buckets 🪴

These buckets are brilliant if you’re on a budget, or need something temporary.

I’ve grown dahlias in them, gooseberries, tulips, cucumbers and even tomatoes! I always over sow tomatoes and instead of throwing any away, I put them in these buckets. I have a stack of them stored at all times!

They have holes drilled in the bottom and are filled with peat free compost. These canes have been in there since Spring 2021 and while they may not do as well as canes planted in the ground, they still provide us with lots of raspberries!

Pots can be so pricey these days 😩

Anyone else a fan of growing in buckets? 🪴
