This sad story has reportedly hit the Nigeria movie industry Nollywood as it lost another great movie legend Columbus , to the cold hand of death.
I want to use this moment to say may his soul rest in peace and may God grant him eternal rest.
Dr. Columbus Irosanga was a Nigerian veteran nollywood actor and senior lecturer at the University of Port Harcourt.
He was known for his role as the chief priest "Igbudu" in the 2001 movie Isakaba. 
He was Born and raised in Okrika, Rivers State, Nigeria
He Had a bachelor's degree, master's degree, and PhD from the University of Port Harcourt
Untill his demise he was a senior lecturer at the university of port harcourt where he Thought acting to students in the Department of Theater Arts.
Columbus Irisoanga started his acting career in the early 80s when he featured in various Nigerian Television Authority (NTA) soap operas with other top actors such as Comish Ekiye he also took part in several drama and stage plays at the Rivers State Council for Arts and Culture, he joined the Nigerian movie industry in the late 1990s and rose to fame in 2003 after playing the role of Igbudu, a powerful chief priest in the Nollywood blockbuster movie “Issakkaba” where he acted alongside with Sam Dede and top rated nollywood actors.
Columbus "" Irisoanga is born to do what we all know him for, a teacher, iconic stage personae, dancer, choreographer, director etc all rolled into one.
