Besan/ Gram Flour - 2 Cups (Buy:amzn.to/45k4kza)
Rice Flour - 1 Tbsp (Buy: amzn.to/3saLgFa)
Chilli Powder - 1 1/2 Tsp (Buy: amzn.to/3b4yHyg)

Carom Seeds - 1 Tsp (Buy: amzn.to/2UpMGsy)
Baking Soda (Buy: amzn.to/3DMM1qL)

METHOD:
1. For the filling, take chopped onions, salt, red chilli powder, chopped coriander leaves and lemon juice in a large bowl. Mix well and keep aside.
2. For the batter, take besan, rice flour, chilli powder, salt, carom seeds and mix well. Add baking soda to the batter tight before dropping the bajjis in oil and mix well.
3. Slit the chillies and remove the seeds inside.
4. Now dip the deseeded chillies in the batter and gently drop into hot oil.
5. Fry the bajjis until they are golden brown in color on all sides on a medium flame.
6. Once done, remove the bajjis from the kadai.
7. Make slits again in the fried bajjis and stuff the onion mixture.
8. Andhra style mirchi bajjis are ready to be served hot and nice.
Mirchi Bajji/ Mirapakaya Bajji is a favorite evening snack for many in the Telugu states. People usually have plain mirchi bajji or onion stuffed bajjis just like how you get in the streets from the street vendors. The onion stuffed mirchi bajjis are more flavorful and attractive due to the finely chopped onions and a hint of lemon juice in them which overpower the heat from every bite of mirchi bajji.
