Rainbow Falls

Rainbow Falls is located in the mountains surrounding Mammoth Lakes.
The road to the trailhead is open from spring to end of October usually, depending on weather conditions.
Devil's Postpile is nearby and both the hike can be planned so that one passes by both.
It was pretty cloudy on my latest visit so there wasn't a rainbow in the waterfall, but on sunny days it is quite common, hence the name.
