If You Removed All Sound | Fusing Art & Science | PBS SoCal

Telepathy by Australian artists David Haines and Joyce Hinterding Energy Fields allows viewers to experience a moment in time without the vibrations of everyday life. Pyramidal sound dampeners are woven together on the floor, ceiling and walls of the structure creating and an anechoic chamber which blocks vibrations, light and radio waves from entering. The viewer, once inside, is left to contimplate their own being.

Energy Fields was part of PST ART: Art and Science Collide, a multidisciplinary civic art project taking place around Los Angeles and Southern California.
