Bristronica 24: A Chat With Dave Of Rossum Electro-Music

At this year's event, we caught up with the legend that is Dave Rossum from Rossum Electro-Music.

Despite mainly attending Bristronica to share stories, Dave gave us a look at the capabilities of new products like the Assimil8or and Qtus-a MIDI interface for the Assimil8or.

He explained that the Assimil8or is a sampler created specifically for modular systems with capabilities such as extreme pitch shifting and phase modulation. With support for stereo sampling, it offers features like controlling bit depth and sound mutation. The Qtus enhances control with MIDI integration, making it a versatile addition for those using a MIDI keyboard.

Dave also talked about his extensive career, spanning roles at many key companies. His passion for invention keeps him devoted to developing groundbreaking music technology.
