Two wildfires have broken out across the country following a warning that low-lying areas of Scotland could be ‘devastated’ by flames.
An extreme wildfire warning was put in place across all low-lying areas of Scotland as firefighters warned of the risk of “devastation” to farmland, wildlife and woodland.
On Thursday afternoon, a wildfire broke out on the Kilpatrick Hills in Dumbarton just after 2pm.
