Macrame Wall Hanging DIY Tutorial

This project difficulty would be considered advanced beginner to intermediate, if you are just starting out you may want to try a smaller projects such as this wall hanging to become more familiar with the knots:    • Small Macrame Wall Hanging DIY Tutorial  

ROPE TOTAL:
24" dowel
(I would advise against cutting all your rope before you start in case you need to adjust the length. The rope I used seems thick for being 4mm, so I doubt you'll need more, but just in case.)
Layer 1: 12 x 120" (3m)
Layer 2: 4 x 120" (3m)
Layer 3: 12 x 160" (4m)
Short Fringe: 38 x 6" (This amount may vary, but this is what I used)
Long Fringe: 68 x 12" (This amount may vary, but this is what I used)
Total: 123m/135yd
A smaller gauge rope will use less and a larger gauge will use more.
