Rhythm Over Force

I was taught rhythm is more important than big swings. Left hand rolls the nails "head up". The framer who taught me was so good at this. Made me learn when I was 16 nailing off roof sheathing. At the time I didn't appreciate the less because I was so slow.

1 reason I prefer my martineztools M1 compared to the Tibones I used 2002-2016 (which are good hammers) is though they are the same weight, the M1 has that weight in the head. This allows for more driving force by acceleration. Don't swing big with your shoulder, instead think fly fishing casting. Snap the wrist at the end for velocity.
