April 2024 — Wildcat Rock Trail in the rain

Today three of the kids and I trekked to Gerton, NC to hike on the Wildcat Rock Trail. We got caught in rain which made the rocky trail a little more technical than usual, but we enjoyed it. We keep the hike short at just under 3 miles round trip, but we ended up climbing 1,100 feet on the way out. We hope to rerun with the whole family to do the entirety of this out and back trail (~10 miles total). Next time!
