Eileen Regina "Shania" Twain was born in Windsor, Ontario on August 28, 1965 and raised in Timmins, Ontario. She loved to sing as a child and started writing her own songs before signing with Mercury Nashville. Her debut album was a flop in 1993. SHe met up with Robert John "Mutt" Lange and in 1995 roared back selling 20 million copies and snagging a Grammy Award for the album.
1997 was her year, she released "Come On Over" which became the best selling studio album by a female act in any genre thus the best selling country album of all time earning her four Grammy Awards. In Canada, "Don't Be Stupid" was remixed to a contemporary dance beat that didnt chart but did gain some play in clubs around Canada. I have taken that single dance version and stretched it out to a decent length...
This one does fit in to what I am doing here, its a dance oriented single you may not have heard yet. Dance and disco through the years and where it is today.
