Fixing a fuel issue on Ramon's sweet ‘68 Ford pickup! The truck was flooding after shutting off, leading to a deep dive into the carburetor. We suspected a power valve or needle and seat issue but soon realized the new mechanical fuel pump was pushing way too much pressure—12 PSI! After installing a fuel pressure regulator and dialing it down to 5 PSI, the truck is running strong again. Chevy HEI distributor on a Ford? Yeah, we went there.
