Kothaligad Trek, Peth Fort, Karjat, Maharashtra

Kothaligad or Peth Fort is a fort located in Karjat near Ambivali village. Its unique funnel like construction of steps through the rock and upto the pinnacle is an engineered marvel. One can also visit the Ambivali Caves nearby ambivali village after a short 20 min walk which is not much visited.
