No Wind...No Rain. Not since Diana Ross's historic performance at Central Park in 1983, did those words rang truer. Although she could have easily cancelled the concert, she and her bandmembers defied the elements and prevailed. Although her performance barely clocked in at one hour, Diana Ross managed to make the evening as memorable as possible despite Mother Nature's unrelenting temper tantrum. Although she skipped thru her setlist, she did not rush thru the songs she did sing. When it came to sing her iconic #1 songs, "Theme From Mahogany (Do You Know Where You're Going To" and "Ain't No Mountain High Enough," she performed them with a vigor that kept the audience on their feet! It was a night to remember.
