This deck was well maintained and lasted 21 years but many of the treated deck boards, that were in the sun, were dried out, cracking and no longer safe. I decided to replace these boards with composite deck boards that would not need to be stained and will probably last the rest of my life.
I was blessed to be given the composite boards by someone that wanted to update their deck with Trex Decking. Of course the used composite boards had screw holes in them... but for the free price I didn't mind and I think they look great!
