September 8th, 2022: On this day, I only had a 45-minute ride planned. I was going into the city of Reykjavik, where I had planned to meet my boyfriend, who had flown in from Norway for the weekend. I roamed around in the outskirts of the city, just killing time - a really nice and chill day!
Route description:
I started my day at Hjalli Kjós camping and had my first stop at magnificent Þórufoss. I continued riding along the shore of a dead quiet Þingvallavatn. I continued along road 435 towards the city and did a small detour into Heiðmörk before I headed into town, finding parking and checking out the famous Rainbow Street.
