Is the old Bali still here?

Today's walk takes me through the morning markets where I'm made to laugh by a clever egg seller. We see the morning market being a hive of activity with locals buying and trading everything from coconuts to offerings.

We look at the amazing main street of Ubud right now as it has enormous Penjors lining the way - it looks amazing!

I also talk to a man as he sweeps the front of his house and ask him personal questions about his life, family, and money. Jiko was a very kind and generous man and also a bit of a comedian - a really funny good guy.

My morning coffe is had with Jiko's wife who runs their little warung and I ask about her business as well as her life.

We also go back to a heron statue that appeared in a previous video to learn the significance of the sculpture and the myth behind the returning herons of Petulu.

The morning market walk was a great start to the day and reminded me that old Bali is still here.
