LibreQoS is an open-source quality of service (QoS) solution that aims to improve internet traffic management and make it more equitable for all users. It is primarily used by small ISPs, especially in developing countries, to provide stable and consistent connectivity to their customers. The software utilizes the Linux traffic control system and features like FQ-CoDel and CAKE to manage congestion and ensure fair distribution of bandwidth. LibreQoS has been deployed by ISPs in 44 countries and 22 US states, benefiting over 3 million end users.
