My two cents -
I already mentioned, that I love the design of the case!
Many 65% boards have slim bezels so i usually don't see much of the case while using the board.
That's one of the reason why i love the glitter65! the lightbar at the bottom is such a nice touch and makes the board so cozy especially in a dimmed room. I feel a little bit limited when it comes to changing the acustics of the board.
I wish moeetech would offer regular porom plate foam along with different plate options which would open make it easier to alter the sound. I know that might add up in costs, but they could just offer it as an optional add-on!
if you really like the look of the board, but prefer to use it with a plate, then maybe you can even DIY it yourself, by buying a 65% plate with blocker and poron plate foam 🤔
I personally would have preferred if they include stabs, rather than adding the two usb-a ports and the SD slot, since i honestly don't think that are that great/fast compared to an actuall usb-hub or the ports on the PC. Maybe they could have even added tri-mode instead? But i have no idea how much more that would cost compared to the extra ports.
One PCB arrived faulty, it worked but both usb-a ports were broken off and i just had a half lit up lightbar 😅
moeetech reassurred me that they will work on that and were very understanding.
i'm a person whos was never really intersted in goodies/gifts or extra stuff in a product, unless i see it as actually usefull.
the bag is nice but i don' see me using it, and idk what to do with that ruler(?) 😅
i just don't like extra stuff, when it means i have to think about how to get rid of it.
i don't really talk much about the price especially with keyboards bc i think it's always very subjective, unless the product is extreme expensive and does not have any value. i mean i have no idea how much money truely goes into CNCing, some stuff is easier to cut than others. designing stuff, prototypen etc.
Anyway, looking at the glitter65 r2, the case is quite unique with all the round edges, bezels and the lightbar, i do think the price is alright.
