While most people were shopping during Black Friday, over 350 people took to the streets to burn off all the good food they ate for Thanksgiving. The Turkey Trot and Burn 5k takes place in the Shandon neighborhood of Columbia, South Carolina and is one of the more popular holiday races in the local area. The course goes over a relatively level surface with only a few slightly inclined hills. Several people came out in festive costumes as well.
