Scott Sports, the makers of fine bicycles, googles, and helmets also make running shoes. They have a nice collection of trail running shoes, but I have a brand new set of road running shoes, the Scott Cruise.
The Scott Cruise is an 11mm drop running shoe that comes in around 9.9 ounces or 280 grams. It has a mesh upper, a foam midsole, and a full rubber outsole. There is definitely some traction on the outsole since it looks like it was inspired by tire treads.
