3 Ways To Protect Yourself At Reynisfjara Beach 👇
1️⃣ Don't Get Too Close
Just because the people in this video are standing close to the shore DOESN'T mean it's a good idea. Remember, even if the water looks calm, things could change in an instant.
Observe Reynisfjara's black sand beauty from a distance!
2️⃣ Never Turn Your Back On The Water
You need to be able to react quickly in case an unexpected sneaker wave is oncoming. Never turn your back on the water, not even for a photo.
3️⃣ Always Obey The Warnings
There's a warning system they use at Reynisfjara Beach. When a yellow light is on, you can't enter the yellow zone, and when a red light is on, you can't enter the red zone. Pay very close attention to the warnings, to disobey them is to take a HUGE risk!
I'm not sharing this to scare you or to dissuade you from visiting one of Iceland's most famous natural wonders.
But I DO want you to be safe, friends 💛
