PC Gamers Reaction to GPU Prices

Both Nvidia and AMD have promised large scale and availability for RTX 50 Series GPUs and RX 9000 Series GPUs.

With the RTX 50 Series launch, everyone discovered that Nvidia was definitely not making as much stock as everyone would hope for, therefore scalpers took advantage of this situation re-selling GPUs way over MSRP.

The same goes for AMD RX 9070 and RX 9070 XT which definitely had way more stock than Nvidia at launch, but failed to meet the large demand.
