I talked my dad’s ear off.. Spent a years telling him my life goals, thinking he was listening….Sharing my abilities and strengths.. proud of the man I’ve become.. hoping he’d be proud of me.. 😢 Sadly after years of me sharing my goals while helping him renovate his lifelong dream of a home in the mountains, did he look at me and tell me that the whole entire time I was speaking to him he was ignoring me and he figured that if he had ignored me long enough, I would realize he wasn’t listening…. Some fathers are better than others.. Mine ignored EVERYTHING I said.. then attempted to force me into poverty with a career switch to a basic meaningless job, after breaking multiple promises and plans made during those times I thought he was listening.. 😢

Pushing 56 l was 9 when Grandpa passed and still to date the greatest man I've ever known and his love for me same as well. I have GOD, CHRIST, THE HOLY SPIRIT AND HIS WORD. IT'S MORE THAN ENOUGH!
