@NoahHerman

I completely understand some of you being picky about scaling, refresh rate and design. If that's the case, you may want to look at pricier options. But for the money, I genuinely think this is one of the best you can get! For most, even creative people... color and brightness are all that matter. And if you NEED 5K+ then you just gotta spend at least 2.6x on an ASD or PD XDR.

Bruh idk why am watching this, I can't even afford a mac

@Will-zr2zs

4k display scaling on MacOS?

@ckaye

Hi Noah. At the beginning of the video you say BenQ furnished you with the monitor. Near the end you say BenQ sponsored the video (although the word “sponsored” does not appear in text at the beginning). Should the viewer conclude you received not only a free monitor but a cash payment for making this gushing review?

@illumna97

don't ever use the headphone port of any non apple monitor when modern macs have an audiophile grade headphone port that sounds better than most 100-200$ dedicated DACs

@Jeannemarre

pay 200$ extra and get the Asus Proart 5K pa27jcv. no scaling issue and better in almost every point.

@yervandpapazyan4473

They also announced new BenQ PD2730S 27" 5K HDR Designer Monitor

@ShaneAndShaneGolf

Hi Noah. I just ordered a Mac Studio and am coming from a 2014 iMac 5k and my only backup monitor is 1080p. How bad is the scaling on this monitor? Every video I watch says that Mac doesn’t scale to 1440 very well. I have a YouTube channel and edit videos using Resolve. Any help is appreciated

@michaelmanus7765

I've used BenQ monitors for awhile with great success. Though the colour space I use is rather limited, some of their monitors have excellent specs on colour spaces. I think they are great bang for the buck for photo, vid and graphics.

@zorbas77

that does not look nothing like 4k? your screen looks like pixels are huge and coming directly from a 90s movie

@PatrickMC

why would anyone ever design a display with non uniform bezels.....

@AbstractJan

I use Dell Utlrasharp U3223Q for 2 years, with macbook pro, its fine. IPS 60Hz, looks very similar to this BenQ... Waiting for some decent 5K, mini led, 120hz one ;)

@craftedsoul

Hey Noah,

Thanks for this video. Just wanted to ask if I'm buying this monitor, would I get the same level/standard of scaling for the 16” MacBook Pro as would I with the 27" Studio Display?

@message2robert

I am looking for a monitor for my MacBook, and I saw videos about the BenQ PD2725U. After watching these videos, I don't understand why the MA270U is $200 less than the PD2725U. They are almost the same. The only real difference is that the PD2725U has Thunderbolt 3 with 65W, while the MA270U has USB-C with 90W. Am I missing anything?

@jevgenitv

Low ppi, 60hz, 4k instead of 5/6k, not even 99% D3, plastic, no webcam and mic I assume … hmm 😂

@roykarim540

Which lights are you using on the back of the Monitor?

@adriablancafort

4k is lightyears away from 5k in macos. You can't seriously compare it

@juaniglesias5878

Thanks ,  good monitor I  i buy 27 , and 32

@LuisRiveram-dj7jj

Its better than Apple display?
