I've been doing this for years, but it's still worth a like when it comes up since the butter is so tasty. It's short notice for Thanksgiving, but "Hey folks, I made some butter" is really impressive for an event meal.

And remember this is unsalted butter, so either mix some in or have salt at the table.

๐Ÿ˜ฎ๐Ÿ˜ฎ๐Ÿ˜ฎ Thank you. I'm spending a ton on butter. I had no idea it was this easy.

@Sparkysings2

Iโ€™ve never seen it done this way. I always used only heavy cream in a stand mixer. Iโ€™m interested to try this way. Thanks!

@ProcessingInfo

Followed along your instructions and made my own butter this morning. Tastes excellent and will add some herbs and salt next time just to experiment. Watched your video on the color of butter, and now I know. Thank you and keep up the informative videos.

@gnome2024

Ive made butter in a stand mixer before and it takes quite a while. This actually looks easier. Thanks!

@NatalieCWilliams

$8.00๐Ÿ‡จ๐Ÿ‡ฆ for 1 litre of whipping cream here. It tastes better for sure but it's not budget friendly. 1 litre of cream gets me about 350g or approx 3 sticks of butter. I was a custom cake maker before retiring.

Thank you. Blessings from Potchefstroom, South Africa

@WildberryAB

Amazing! How much salt would you add to that for salted butter?

@smiseel2001

A fun activity with a circle of children: put whipping cream in a jar with a tight lid. Have children shake and pass the jar . While passing and shaking, a ditty to say : "So and so ( child's name ) is standing at the gate, waiting for a butter cake, come butter come, come butter come." Child then passes to next child who shakes the jar while they chant his or her name.

@valjalava1951

@Foodie_77823

Very Nice ๐ŸŽ‰๐Ÿ˜Š

@misswoltzen

Can you drink the butter milk? Is it the same as the butter milk you can get in the grocery store?

@Toby-Cooper

How much butter does that carton of cream make?
