@ajmod73

From everlasting summers to thermonuclear war Lets gooo I’m ready

@loverthe

The world: ending
My earphones: time for some elegant yet dramatic orchestral music.

@Iguessimhere154

This is the music you would hear when you're nearing towards the end of the game and you finally figure everything out.

@devikamalkanthi9167

"And with that, the world ended, not with a bang, but with a whimper."

@01FrozenFuze

I love the fact that we can listen to a diverse amount of music here which is amazing!!!

@JamIsNice

This is the music that plays when a character makes a promise to their dying friend

@echo5827

Can't remember what the group of adventurous kids with backpacks and a baseball bat aesthetic reminds me of but it's nostalgic

@H4Z3-L

i feel like the kid with the bat is just going "stay back"
either to the giant death storm, or the kids behind him

@AngryOwl007

Oh yeah, this def has a Neon Genesis evangelion feel. Truly good job

@kyonnosukeasakura1768

POV: you're one of the kids there, witnessing the final moment of your life before the beginning of the end.

The Third Impact.

@palerchristiandouglas2232

When you lose the fight against cancer, this musical piece somehow fits a final goodbye theme.

@dapz1ename555

there's some weird melancholic feeling of acceptance i can't explain....

i wouldn't mind going out listening to this

@thefaeriealtar

~~good inspiration from this----surprised there aren't more writings out there~~

The group watched as a bright light, almost as if it were a laser came from the sky----only its purpose wasn't to burn, its purpose was to destroy the world, by taking the world away----literally.

A white-haired girl, a pigtailed brunette, two males----one brown-haired and the other blonde, and a little boy, who was a few years younger than the rest stood atop one of the higher buildings, a good distance away from the light. The leader of the kids, the white-haired girl, Bianca, whispered, "We failed. I promised him I'd save the world, but what have I done? This wasn't supposed to happen so soon, not yet, we were supposed to have a few more days-"

Her best friend, the brown-haired male, Matt, moved to embrace her. "Shh, it's okay Bianca," he whispered into her hair. "We're going to be okay. We'll survive this, I promise. We'll see to it that this world sees better days."

Rocks tumbled upwards around them, and Bianca moved to join them, crying, "But I can't forgive myself for promising something I couldn't do! He must be so disappointed in me----oh Father, I'm so sorry, I swear I tried, I really did-"

Matt ran in front of her, taking her by the shoulders and pushing her back. "No," he said firmly. "You can't begin to right the wrongs if you die now. Besides, what would we do without you? Even if the world does end, we'll be right with you 'till the very end. This, I promise you."

Bianca began to cry, though she nodded in understanding. "I-I just- I can't lose any of you, it'll be easier for me if I go first-"

Matt shook his head, and so did Alex, the blonde to his left. Alex stared into Bianca's dark, dark eyes. "You can't just think about yourself, you'd cause all of us the same pain if you went first."

He shook his head again. "No, we'll just have to go together. All of us."

Mille and Leo, the last two of the group chimed in with their approval. "Besides," Leo said with his innocent voice. "I'm sure he would forgive you anyways. He must know how hard we worked, how hard you worked to try to save the world. Alas," he sighed. "Some things cannot be changed."

Millie turned sharply to him, her pigtails bouncing wildly. "When did you learn to get so wise, hm? I thought you were supposed to be the innocent and young one of the group," she teased, her teeth sparkling in the light.

The five poked fun at one another for the next few hours, and closed their eyes when they saw the beam coming their way. Collectively, as one, they felt their chests rise, and their bodies soon following.

"Goodbye," Bianca yelled to her friends. "I love you all!"

@alcejaylos.4257

It sounds like a beautiful calamity. Something dark and depressing yet worth witnessing.

@mima6029

"I eat danger for lunch!", cried the last hero enthustiastically.

He was the last hero.

@notBrie

The 3rd/4th impact vibes are strong with this one.

@OasisFirefly

This is how you witness the end of everything with class.
