The worst part of the fact that this game has "government-mandated vaccines are a way to mind control us" as a plot line? The creator's previous fan game was named Zeta/Omicron. When the Omicron variant of Covid was announced, he tweeted "If I had a nickel for every time one of my Pokémon fangames retroactively looks like antivaxxer propaganda..." alongside the relevant screenshot of Doofenshmirtz.

Heyo! One of the devs for Rejuvenation here—there's a lot of people suggesting Rejuvenation as the next game you should play, but personally I would recommend holding off until V14 of the game is out. It'll include the addition of Gen 9 Pokémon and the end of Act 2, it's currently in development and has been for about 10-11 months now—while also being expected to not take nearly as long as the current public build, V13.5 (which took a bit over two years to be published). If you'd like to know anything else on the matter or would like to know more about the game as a whole (as there's some stuff that'd probably be useful to know up front), feel free to reach out! Jacob's early game plan of only having edgy pokemon leading to him getting his ass handed to him many, many times in the early game is actual peak. Acting dark and cool only to self-sabotage yourself into being a giant loser is the most authentic expression of edge possible.

So, btw, “Cult” was originally the word used to refer any specific group that worships a specific deity in polytheistic religions, a lot of cults weren’t death happy murder religions as depicted today, however a lot of them did keep their religious rights secret for reasons that vary from: Our god is he literal embodiment of death and we don’t want to risk earning g their ire, to… “We make the best wine, and since its important for our right, why would we give away that secret”
