Thank you so much for this video! Just found out the Transitions were discontinued and panicked a little. Good to know there are other options for blue-blocking lenses.
Very cool that you can get this on contacts now. I did try a pair of blue light blocking glasses and I didn't notice any less eye strain, but it's hard to know who makes a solid pair and which ones are substandard.
I do feel like it takes the edge off the brightness of the sun somewhat when I’m outside. This is speaking about when I wear blue light blocking glasses and contacts. And I think the yellow tint should be considered if the patient is a graphic designer or in some field of work where exact color perception is very important.
Yes they do I used to get really bad headaches and now I don’t
As someone with severe photophobia and Astigmatism my options are limited.
Thank❤ you 😊 great information
I’m currently trialing the Acuvue Oasys Max and would suggest if you already have green eyes to give these a miss. Although they do seem to be better for my dry eyes that the Acuvue daily moist in certain light I’ve had comments from multiple people that my eyes look noticeably extra green to one person saying they looked like avatar eyes 😅 Not quite the look I think most people would want. Would be curious to know how other eye colours compare with these lenses.
Could we have a video about floaters anxiety ? Thanks doc it's always interesting
So I have both, with blue light and without, how can I test what works better for me? TIA
Hey doc, I’m curious about your opinion on trying monthlies. I love acivue Oasys bi weekly’s but I’ve been on a budget recently and curious on trying acuvue vita I had used acuvue moist but my vision was terrible always cloudy I have an astigmatism is there any other recommendations of other contacts just to take note of
Although I was curious if the brand Hubble contacts have that blue light filter and I can’t figure it out if someone could help I would appreciate it
