Well I think this was put to rest as the anime was peak for what the source material had to offer. Not sure why people thought it was all going to look like the poster for it, people should really stop blindly watching anime and check out at least images of the source material... Anyone familiar with Monsters knew this is roughly what it would look like, especially when considering Oda's general art style in One Piece.
