I think as boomers die off and elder millennials like myself raise our own kids the stigma around the trades will drop off a cliff and likely reverse. I grew up with the idea that “everyone should go to college or else you’re a failure” and have seen first hand how wrong that is. So when my kids are old enough to choose their paths, we’ll be encouraging them to be pragmatic. Even if they don’t choose the trades as an educational and career path, it will be discussed as a legit option.

@alexill

Always be a need for infrastructure...lil spooky for office people with AI

Lack of younger kids going into trades over last 20 plus years, just makes those who are more valueable

@troop311

I’ve never framed anything before and with Matt’s videos I’m currently framing a 62x31 shop and it’s turning out great!

@vicktorpatriot1430

Big time TV.  Congratulations Matt

The trades require skill and knowledge. Many so called professionals with multiple degrees do nothing but push paper. Many of those degrees only show someone's check cleared

@shanesouza4303

@cidiotmoments

I would have done a " How high" moment!
"First cops, then catch a predator... now this!?!?" " holy crap! I'm on a hot streak"

@benglass2221

Kids nowadays aren’t cut out to be construction workers/tradesman. Thats why everybody is trying to make AI everything because this generation of kids would rather program a computer to have a robot do the work for them instead of just being skilled tradesman and working with your hands. Hopefully one of these days, the shortage of young people in the trades will benefit my generation of tradesman as their is less and less of us all the time so hopefully we’ll be more and more in demand.
