@gatesj777

As I’m sure you know 99 and 2000 4.7s didn’t have this. Both of mine have the “tow package” and have both an electric and clutch driven fan. Which I thought was strange when I first saw it. Ones without the towing package got electric or clutch driven, can’t remember which…

@m2003h

Amen. The hydraulic fan is Not my favorite item on the other wise Awesome G

Needed to replace my hydraulic fan a few months ago. It was $500.00 on eBay I went to a junkyard and paid $17.00 dollars for it 😂😂😂

moral of the story...never buy a POS jeep

@jflee1

I agree 💯. I was looking at replacing mine with a clutch fan. Still brain storming the idea.

@may132005

Is 4.0 L same nonsense?

@4formsofMATTer

I honestly don’t mind the hydraulic fan. The only thing I don’t like is the solenoid for it can only be found in junkyards now.

@brackoncorbridge1966

I use amsoil power steering fluid in mine works great even as always leaked no overheating at all. Runs cool. Try g5 antifreeze as well.
