Few things are as warmly comforting as the deep sound of a well-played cello while reading outdoors alone at night. Now all I hear are crickets, the occasional distant sound of a car, and this sublime procession of brilliant pieces of music that tug quietly at my soul. Bliss

Summer is nice and all, I get why people like it. But I think winter is probably my favorite season. There’s just something so…magic about snow, the way it falls to the ground, the way it sparkles like it has stardust in it. It’s a good excuse to make warm food, get some hot chocolate, curl up in a blanket. Cold weather brings people together.

I played this set of music the day before my Dad died as he was in a comma. He loved cello classical music, and I hoped this would stir him. It didn’t, but I hope that somewhere deep inside him that it gave him comfort. I am very grateful that I could play this for him. Thank you for sharing.
