It is so fitting that the trailer starts with Superman next to dead. Almost like the trailer is saying, we know, it feels like all hope is lost, the world is horrible. Then the rest of the trailer is him getting back up and that hope slowly coming back. It really is something I needed right now.

The concept of Superman’s overall arc potentially being the savior of “what it means to be a hero” and showing other hero’s how to do it right is an awesome story point to hit. It sounds super unique and something we haven’t gotten in super hero movies. We always have the hero figuring that out themselves, but no hero preventing wrongful vigilantism. Superman is perfect for that.

From the moment Krypto appeared, I couldn't help but smile. The trailer captured the awe and hope that Superman represents. I just hope the film delivers and reminds the world who Superman is supposed to be.
