0:57 that’s a piece of art I commissioned for my homebrew chapter “The Emperor’s Lions” who are also Ultramarines successors funnily enough! I’m pleased to see my marines being shown in our 40K community. I spent a lot of time creating their lore, colours and iconography with the artist who created the pieces for me. 24:25 - A theory I've heard, is that a lot of loyal marines from traitor legions were said to have been Ultramarines successors to spare them from the inquisition. Silver Skulls, and the Iron Snakes are said to have actually been from Iron Warriors stock, but their lineage was forged, saying they were Ultramarines successors instead.

9:14 my favorite chapter Fr 🔻, also if your planning on making other videos like this for successor chapters, I would recommend doing the Dark Angels next, it would also be similar with season 2 for Space Marine 2 focusing on the Dark Angels.

just incase if anybody is wondering why the mortafactors are so different to the UM is because when they got there homeworld and started assmaliting them into the chapter, the culture of the people also came in, so that is why they are fans skulls
