@rapaholicz

Sidenote but just wanted to say how thankful I am of y'all. Hope 2025 is good to you and we stay blessed with great hip-hop this year. Drop your 2025 music predictions in the replies

@Mr.Mayonnaise08

He doesn’t really expect Kendrick to come at him though it can be anyone from the west coast

@Ifitaintshotbyvon

"Old-ass flow, tryna convince me that you they favorite" pretty much applies.

@adrianb714

Can we just appreciate that the spirt of hip hop is coming back instead of saying how trash the song was

@misswattley6743

“ITS NOT ENOUGH!”

@Tytytiger2

I love this channel cuz it's not like the other ones where Everytime Kendrick, Drake, or Tyler says anything they have to drop a 8 minute video. But he actually breaks down shit and doesn't just throw out as much content as possible .

@AlexG-mt5be

I don’t see how he can hate from outside the club. He can’t even get in!😂 (part II)

@Winteramen

This felt like the inverse of Kanye hopping in with his remix of "Like That." The timing is all wrong lmfao

@Notoire66

Fuck it
Do I wanna see Joey Bada$$ vs K Dot battle??
Hell yea

@Fakejordan.4ev

I think kendrick should slap back at joey it's the competitive spirit that kendrick wanted

@killathadon2473

All they do is talk about k dot height 😂😂😂 these dudes wack

@kath1626

Jeez, one dude offended cause he wasn't mentioned in the Control verse, the other dude offended cause he was. Poor Kenny lol.

@grymeyworld

Bruh let’s be honest. History repeats itself and throughout all history everytime a west coast artist reaches the top it’s always a New York rapper or New York as a whole hating. When Kendrick said he learned they don’t like the west coast, it’s clear. Cam’ron, mase, 50 cent, fat Joe and Joey now all felt some type of way during the battle and after. New York needs to stop hating on California fr that’s lame. Let Cali shine once without feeling offended.

@ebnest123

Why no one had smoke for Atlanta for the last 15 years 😂or even aubrey

@palmalleyusa1085

Everyone is interpreting this potential rap battle in the same vein as Kendrick’s battle (well, assassination really) with drake, which is dumb to assume. This battle would be what Dot and Cole was supposed to be: two competitors trying to outperform each other with their skills.

I think this would be great for hip hop as a whole considering we’d hear even more Dot while getting the absolute best of Joey, but I don’t think this is even close to being on Kendrick’s radar unfortunately.

@kidsonicofficial

The "elohim" bar is also a call back to a song by NY rapper Killah Priest called "One step" which has a vocal at the beginning that says "your arms to short to box with god"😅

@Kungfukenny369

Until ice spice stops, Joey has nothing to say about wack west coast rap. We’ve been hearing mid at best East coast rap. Kendrick putting out multiple hits in a rap battle is the best thing in 2024. Joey needs to put more out. Been waiting since amerikkkan badass 🤷🏻‍♂️

@MrGhostTube

Trying to imagine Kenny caring.

@Bowmacho

Joey badass didn't even do anything to Troy Ave for calling Steez "Splat Man" Back when he dissed him. I don't think you ready for Kendrick 🥲

@RelicLabzEntertainment

When he said "we fuck wit rocky more anyways" I completely forgot who we were even talking about and had to look at the title, that's crazzzyyy😭
