Windows 11 24H2 vs Windows10
Downloading fps has become a reality
while I was doing this test for windows 23h2 an update came out that increased performance, I only managed to check it in a couple of games, but the result is very similar to 24h2
At 638 FPS I can finally play CS2, it was unplayable at 636
We need 7800x3d pre patch vs 7800x3d post patch. It will be interesting to see if the huge cache makes branch prediction less important or if it sees the same perf gains as other zen 4/5 models.
Can you do 1 for 7800x3d? Anyway, thanks brother. Can only imagine how much effort it takes to make videos like these!
Do 7800X3D vs 14700K in Windows 11 24H2
AMD thought Microsoft can save Zen 5... Zen 4 also got faster from this update so the performance difference between the two didn't change at all.
Ensure memory integrity is enabled. The 24H2 preview comes with it disabled by default, which results in performance gains at the cost of security. It's enabled by default in 23H2, so unless it's enabled on both it's not an accurate comparison.
Now can you test Windows 10 vs Windows 11 gaming performance with the new update?
Just a note, basically every CPU gets benefits from this so there is no reason to get Zen 5 either way
Another day another Testing Games upload, letβs gooooo
Really interesting comparison, thanks!
THANK YOU FOR DOING THIS BENCHMARK β€
installed last night the preview version and it's noticeable on rog ally , I'm quite happy with the update
please compare it with windows 10
Yes this would be the best time to do a comparison between windows 10 vs win 11 β€ππ
7800x3D seems like a prime candidate for this test.
Just remember that for anyone gaming above 1080p, this update makes very little difference on average fps. It might help 1% lows but not overall framerate.
