The jumping spinning hook kick was unexpected π
My sensei once said "The sport version is for scoring points, the traditional is for real life fighting. Don't confuse them and their intended purposes."
And you do them both better than anyone ever did Nat
Basically, classical martial arts techniques are based on the assumption that the opponent is wearing clothes, so there are movements to pin down or break down the opponent before the final punch or kick, allowing the attack to land. To the eyes of sports spectators, these do not look like "attacks" so they are omitted from consideration, and they cannot be utilized in ring sports situations where grabbing the opponent is prohibited or where grappling is difficult to use because the opponent is naked. In the end, the style of punching (kicking) and moving away is optimal for ring sports.
I honestly love sport, I feel light on my toes, I have fast in and out punches, and speedy kicks.
The sporty spinning hook kick was so cool.
The sport kick was really good.
Can you make a video on "How to throw a back kick"? People talk about back kicks so much that I got quite interested.
Can you give us tips for beginners in karate and taekwondo specifically on kicks and how to build up that strength with no equipment?
Thanks Nat for being on time πππ
Iβm team sport man yo that last one looked so cool
I'm doing traditional kyokushing karate, it honestly helped me a lot
can we get a video where you explain all the medals you have on your wall?
I think both are great , but the jumping spinning hook kick is too strong , I can't do it ππ± Great video , I have saved it , I hope Nat can continue to make videos like this ππππ I really like seeing Nat wearing this black coat , itβs very handsome β€β€πππ
There is still hope fot people who see value in tradition
I guess the traditionalist is just a perfectionist idk
People took a lot of time to figure out martial arts in the past, that's why traditional is powerful
When I pick a character in a fighting game with multiple stances:
Honestly I like the sports oneπ
