I find in all the side by sides that the Zv-E10 has a better sharper definition and the Mark II is a bit more blurry
I cannot tell you how many of these comparison videos I’ve watched. This was the BEST! You reviewed with a beginner/intermediate in mind💯
I own a zv e10. Still good for webcam/backup/starter vlog setup. It could hide exif data so no mcafeen geotagging security flaw and it could also adapt vintage lenses to prevent being spied on.
I'm happy with my ZV-E10. Works amazing with that 16mm Sigma lens! I don't think I'd classify it as a beginner camera. I think I'd call it more of a mid tier camera. The Canon m50? That I think is more classified as a beginner camera now. I'm still learning it but there's still so many accessories and adapters you can get that it's not even funny. I'm still learning about how to use it best with lens filters and settings. Hopefully I can help it work better with my channels. Thank you!
Thank God, Christmas is around the corner 😊😊
I went for the Mk ii for the same reasons you described. Back into photography after many years but I also run several YT channels and needed better video. Looking forward to learning both camera and skills. Thanks for your simple to understand review.
Thanks for the brilliant comparisons and taking the time to explain both cameras. Well done
It's just me, or the mk1 is sharper? Did you used the same lens?
I think my ZV-E10 is great camera for the price I got it. I had traded couple of cameras which ended up with me 450€ on body + 2 lenses. Each Lens to me cost 50€. One is the basic kit lens and the other one is 55-210mm zoom lens. I spend from my wallet just 175€ for minimum 550€ ZV-E10 setup. Thanks to trading up the cameras.
a fan and a dummy battery will solve the heating problem of mark ii, which makes it a beast!!!
Just picked up the Zv 10 from Walmart. Combo kit with lens , tripod , some filters etc for $770 with taxes. But I’m getting $107 back from Rakuten on it , so about $662 all in. Never had a Sony camera before. I hope I’ve made a good decision. Been using my iPhone to make YouTube videos. It’s fine so far. Just trying to learn as much as I can on both video and photography.
Great comparison video! :trophy-yellow-smiling:
Such a helpful video, Nate! Great work!
Thinking about one of these to improve the video on my channel. Thanks for the review!
That was a lot of info. Thanks mate also if u can do a photo comparison that would be great ☺
I had a ZV1 and sold it to get a Pocket 3. I love it for vlogging. Now I’m looking for a small, portable, lightweight camera that will be a great vlog camera as well as a family capture camera (like a camcorder used to be). I’m a stills photographer and I shoot full frame Nikon so I’m not very interested in grabbing a lot of APS-C Sony glass. Would this camera be a good “throw in my daypack” cam for both YouTube and family capture, with occasional snapshots? Also! Was this video all shot on the new kit lens? That’s all I’m gonna get. Also I’m shocked at how bad the rolling shutter is on this. I don’t remember my ZV1 being that bad even. Btw, great review, very detailed.
The E10 II feels overpriced considering there's no IBIS or physical shutter, especially with the A6700 being an option that's coming on sale now at not much more. Personally I stretched my budget and got the E1 which is an incredible camera for the price.
Very very basically, if you’re color grading, go for the MKII. otherwise the difference really isn’t that big. If you’re on a MKI, no real need to upgrade unless you’re dying to color grade.
Thanks for the review!
