All Obsidian had to do was get rid of Matt Hansen but they chose to stay quiet. Why support a studio that hates you? Lmao
That woman couldn't design an outside toilet let's alone a video gameš
When I first saw and heard of Avowed, I do remember it having a completely different art design.
This game ended up just like dragon age Dreadwolf. Started out as a normal game and got hijacked by DEI hires and infected with the message.
Patel was promoted to be the "yes man." This game is exactly what management wanted.
it sounds like Avowed was a conspiracy to make selling to MS more attractive, and then after the sale they admitted they couldn't pull it off because of massive talent attrition.
Avowed is being outperformed by Oblivion. ItĀ“s honestly pathetic. All devs on that project need to lose their jobs. Hire true talent next time and donĀ“t check boxes.
Wife started playing Avowed on gamepass and the locations are nice, but the world is completely empty and lifeless. Only a few types of enemies and the same side activities like looking for treasure, finding fast travel points, finding campsites and a few generic side quests. The game had a lot of potential and it was wasted...
Carrie Patel looks better as a thumbnail than as a director.
the 1st Avowed trailer is a masterclass in false advertising
Avowed felt like an unfinished game from the early 2000s.
Maybe tod howard was secretly based by not letting them make another fallout game for them
3:36 They lifted that spell casting system straight from the game Arx Fatalis (2002).
Did they hire a blind person to make all the people and enemies??
Get these wine moms out of game development. Bonnie Ross, Kiki Wolfkill, Sarah Bond, Carrie Patel. Worse than alphabets
Defending it as just a AA game is wild
I don't care about the trials and tribulations of making a video game, only the result matters to me. Avowed looks like a generic and unfinished mess that should have been canceled.
Couldn't even reach 20k players on Steam? That is friggin' hilarious!
I'd get Avowed for $30, because it seems like a $30 game. For $70... I'll wait until the price invariably drops.
