There are some underrated rods out there, midas and mythical rods are essential for money making. Mythical rod is pretty good and I dont understand why people hates midas so much

Pro Tip: even after you get rod of the depths use trident rod for money. get clever on rod of the depths and make it for leveling in forsaken shores pond

Why does no one ever talk about sunken rod it has 30% lure speed, 150% luck, I forgot the control and 15% resilience and every ten fish caught is a 25% for a treasure map it’s prettt much trident but better stats and without Atlantean and the stab ability

if your a beginner get steady after that get arctic after this is optional you can get rod of the depths or the trident and then you just get the best rods

Carbon rod< steady rod< artic rod< rod of the depths < kraken rod with clever< heavens rod< no life rod< ROTFF< seraphic rod. This is just my preference and because I had clever on kraken rod is because it has more resilience and the 10x mutation and the passive.

If you want to progress REALLY fast this is what I would do Starter rod (flimsy) Carbon next Steady next Arctic rod (is insane paired with hasty allowing a early insta catch rod with great kg and bar (also resilience) After is optional honestly trident with hasty (if u got arctic rod with hasty no point of it just keep it until you get rod of depths (Once again) 1.starter rod (flimsy) 2. Carbon rod 3 steady rod 4. Arctic rod (with hasty) 5. Trident (optional) (with hasty) 6. Rod of the depths (abysmal for money, clever for exp and wormhole for bestiary)

Let me ask you a question. Why are you even recommending people get the rod of forgotten fang once they have rotd? Rotd is just better in almost every way that matters other than weight.

Honestly ever since the update there is another good enchant for rotd, I don’t remember it’s name, but it has 40% chances to be supspace, which I think is better, and you get better chances.

Small update Better rod progression :) Beginner: Carbon Steady Scurvy (optional i recommend glitching into the depths if you get it but its a good rod) Kings/aurora rod (do NOT even think of buying mythical rod.) ————————————————————— Midgame: Trident (you can beg for people to open door) ————————————————————— Near endgame: Rod of the depths ————————————————————— Endgame: Use rod of the depths with rapid catcher and clever (clever buffed) and get no life rod Final rod: rod of the forgotten fang [Enchantments recommended for each rod) ————————————————————— Carbon rod: don't enchant Steady hasty (optional if you wanna enchant it or not its not really worth it still) Scurvy:controlled/resilience (optional rod) King rod:hasty Aurora: resilience Trident: hasty Rod of the depths: hasty/abyssal (money)/clever (xp) No life rod: swift/quality/abyssal Rod of the forgotten fang: hasty. Not begging for likes but id love a like since i spent a bit time writing this You can skip aurora/king rod and get trident rod if you dont wanna get full desolate deep bestiary

I regret getting the mythical rod, i thought that resilience didnt matter that much 💀, i guess i am just going to obtain enchant relics and get resilient, but still i have to face the 2000 kg debuff 🗿
