Good advice. Have you ever used a flash / snoop set up to black out the typically awful gym backgrounds? I don't think a single small flash will be powerful enough.

Great video! I'm a newbie trying to use an old Canon EOS 7D but the lens (Zoom 28-135mm EF and EF lens 50 mm) doesn't work for indoor wrestling events. What type of budget friendly lens would you recommend for wresting pictures?

Which lens would be good if you can be closer to the mat? I noticed you were sitting fairly far back. I want a lens that can handle when the boys are near me and also be able to zoom to them when they are on the other side of the circle. My Nikon D7200 shoots 6 frames per second in JPEG mode. iOS up to 25600.

I actually train in the sport so I’m taking photos about 10ft from the subject. I’m indoors with low lighting. As a result I’m looking at 12-35 mm f2.8 lens. Do you think this will do the trick.

I’ve been doing this for a while now and you can’t help with the action take place so you take what you get and make sure you’re getting the faces so if you’re gonna use this for a magazine or a newspaper, they have the faces facing the camera no butts that’s a no no that’s all my
