Insurance fraud is so annoying. I was stationary at set of lights when a driver failed to stop and just went into the back of me. My back was knackered and still is 10 years later. NHS were not interested and just said speak to your insurance. Everyone thought I was just after a payday. My back is forever screwed but the insurance say it’s just because of my age I kept refusing to settle a pay day no doctor would take me seriously they scanned my neck instead of my back after 4 years I just took the pay out, which was in my opinion was not worth it. I lost wages and now restricted in activities, I cannot do track days roller coasters etc without suffering for days afterwards. The injury claim is just a payday scam for lawyers and 2nd rate doctors

Interestingly, Alex, I got a hernia from having a shit prior to going to the gym and smashing out leg raises amidst my set (loosening your stomach muscles to help poo, then working on abs hard). If you've noticed a lump or it pops out, lift the arm of that side into the air and really stretch, and you can pop it back in with minimal damage. Planks and Stomach Vacuums will help lessen it in the future, also trying to not let your gut relax when in car/sitting down etc. Also try not to push too much when on the toilet, I used to when I was younger but didn't wanna get piles, so I patiently watch PooTube for like half hour, elbow dents in my legs and dead legs after sitting on the throne is standard. Ain't 40's fun? 🤣

welcome to your 40's alex its just great! hernia's, crippling piles, having cameras shoved up your poop shoot, receding hairlines, grey pubes that appear out of nowhere that are over 4 inches long to name a few. silver lining is you have a daughter on the way and nothing compares to watching them grow, the smile they give you when you come in, those little things are priceless. my step children were 16 months and 9 when my ex and i got together. watching my youngest grow, her vocabulary growing and her finding her personality are things i feel like the luckiest man to have been a part of. you'll also find yourself skint because every time you go past a shop selling little nike trainers and sparkly red converse boots you won't be able to help yourself. good luck mate i never get jealous only inspired and now my life is inches away from where i want to be my next goal is to have a family.
