Currently California, Colorado, NY, etc..not every state, but most states are following the new Pay Transparency guidance, forcing companies to list the salary range in each job posting. This is great news for job seekers!!

For larger companies, I've used the job postings in states like Colorado to get an estimate of what the same job open in Pennsylvania would pay and it has helped! Too bad companies are posting huge ranges to keep the range they would offer somewhat secretive.

I hope that we can have some larger states not pass this law and others do. 
Just to allow for a control group, hopefully at random.

This will show whether or not this law is a good idea.

How does a bonus work in these kinda jobs? Why not just include it in the pay? How do you even measure if someone’s earned a bonus in accounting, it’s not like it’s a sales jobs
