I love that they have the interviews in the same aspect ratio as the Vistavision footage from the film
Definitely hoping this is our Best Picture winner. Profound storytelling and technically astounding.
This is the best film I have seen this year, bar none.
incredible film. saw it in imax and then again in 70mm. the first half in particular might be the best filmmaking of the decade so far
This film despite its length is a very conventional and effective story of love and the human experience in this time and isn't abstract or detached at all. It's just a masterful stroke of Brady Corbet and Mona Fastvold's genius.
Best Score, Best Cinematography, and Best Editing. This movie deserves those awards big time.
Brody and Pearce chemistry goes as hard as Joaquin Phoenix and Philip Seymour Hoffman in the master and that's so, so great!
I walked out of the cinema stunned. A fantastic tribute to the myth of the American dream. Such a complex work and immersion piece. Will have to go watch it again.
I already watched it twice!!! Its like reading a great book!!! Cinematography, score, story, performances ... All are amazing!!! Made me feel like time flew by... Definitely deserves all recognition!!! I love it!
Truly, the Art speaks for itself! A very poignant film that could mean so many things, but at the same time a timely reflection of the American Dream. I saw Brutalist twice. The first time, I was certain it was the best movie watching experience of my life (The score, cinematography, acting). The second go, I have come to appreciate the screenplay even more. So many iconic moments engraved in my memory from the Statue of Liberty upside down, the train explosion, the scenic quarry shots, and my favorite: the smart use of a jazz rendition of “You are my destiny” prior to the film’s climax ending with “That’s what you are.” Blew my mind! This deserves the best picture!
Absolutely incredible film. Adrien Brody is phenomenal and is able SAY so much with just his eyes and facial expressions.
Love Brady and Mona's creative relationship, partnership and collaboration. Inspiring.
The Best Picture of the Year 10/10 across the bord!!!! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐💯
I enjoyed the two-part presentation of “The Brutalist” and when it stopped in the middle of the movie, we finally got up in our seats in like 15 minutes (how do you like that Avengers: Endgame or Killers of the Flower Moon?) and its refreshing to see Part 2 and its great to have a back-to-back “Intermission” that we never have since the 60s. Anyway, a really good movie, I enjoyed the entire sequence of “The Brutalist” and it's a good masterclass immigrant’s story of life, creativity resourceful, overpowered by strong people who want him to create and design, and a good quality picture. 8/10 closer to the 9 than 7 and if I rewatch Max (which will held in spring because A24 owns HBO I would give it a 9 and praising this movie just takes time to understand it) - Adrien Brody is an incredible actor and he's a “masterclass” pretty boy performing since the good ol’ days in “The Pianist” and now giving an Oscar will compete with either Domingo or Timmy Pretty Boy (⚠️AI acting is a bit risky of the changing dialogue of speaking Hungarian/Jewish so its a low spot of this movie) - Guy Pearce is fantastic in supporting role. - Felicity Jones is great as an obnoxious “pain in the ass” wife in the supporting role. - Brady “Egg” My Man Corbet for best directing (knew him since Funny Games) - Solid original screenplay and story - Great score - Fantastic cinematography - Nice editing - Great production design - Hoping to get a Best Picture (Fans & Audiences knew they wanted this movie than EP so they finally earned if they win)
Absolutely fabulous film!
I hope The Brutalist wins 5 Oscars for Best Picture, Director, Actor, Cinematography and Score My favorite movie of 2024 with Dune 2 and The Wild Robot
La magia del cine 🎥❤
by far the most amazing movie I've ever seen!
2025 Best Picture winner.
