@stickersupremacist

if "mantra" is cultural appropriation then so is "karma"

@Ayushi_789

Mantra has more than one meaning
It also means slogan

@shimmer3221

Do y'all see how obsessed people are? You will always be a fan💁

@d.j.10-dms

Even I'm Indian and Hindu ....I have no problem with the word used by Jennie ....it can be that she doesn't know the religious meaning of the word 'mantra'...I would say that there is no problem in using the word. The Indians who are hating her must just be jealous of her !!!

@juutaro

the word "mantra" gets used a LOT by people who aren't associated with those religions though? it's just a normal word, it might have a religious background/origin but it's used as a normal word

@officialitishreesahu

I'm also Indian I don't give a fuck 😂 I love Jennie and mantra is the best song i ever listened and as a blink I love her as always 🥸🩷

@NayeonLuvzz

People need to stop criticizing her.

@vsxxo

Okay, the word 'mantra' is more than being in the Hindu culture, and the hate is definitely forced coming from Indian ARMYS to be specific

@Shiny_Blink1078

Y'all listen Karma is also sacred word in Hinduism.... When Jojo Siwa sang it she didn't face any criticism like how Jennie's getting as there is also a different meaning in it in other cultures and religions.... So the same can also be in mantra like its also sacred Hindu word and there can be a different meaning in other cultures and religions! Maybe it means something different in Korean Culture! Im also an Indian and a Hindu and this is my opinion!.... And atleast let the song release!

@boringaahusername

As a Buddhist, we have just five rules and Jennie isn’t breaking any of them. (Don’t hurt ppl, don’t steal, don’t lie, don’t drink, don’t sexually abuse) so anyone who has a problem with the worth “mantra” is stupid 🤷‍♀️😐

@user-cj5tm3te7c

1- songs haven't released and yet they judge
2- they judge because its bp members. And army hate bp
3- or maybe they hate because Jennie promote her songs in India way before their oppas.
4- Mantras also means Quotes like life Mantras/quotes while in Hindu culture it means Sacred spell
5- Kpop artist does have problem with Hindu culture. So Jennie does need criticism if it's actually cultural appropriation.

@karinag53

Then "sushi" or "pizza" are cultural appropiation. Girls c-mon

@69Tonyro

Some people look for any excuse to hate. But go on.

@Just_basicwannabeY.N

As an Indian and a Hindu... I don't really mind it since it's just a word like it means slogan or spells(magical spells)
The only thing that bothers me is its pronunciation by the foreigners

@Liza_Virani

First of all the word "Mantra" that Jennie is pronouncing is different from what we Indian pronounce as a different meaning. The way Jenny is pronouncing the word is different in the meaning could vary in different areas and for her mantra is only for the song and not for cultural appropriation. The people who were saying that the song is a culture appropriation they are jealous of JENNIE because she is getting popular and popular day by day and a song is f**** good.

Whose with me???

@Yeya1802

Exactly at this point they are just hating to hate

@DhwaniSawarkar

I AM ALSO A PROUD INDIAN BLINK AND WHAT HAPPENED IF SHE HAS JUST NAME HER SONG "MANTRA"
WHY ALWAYS HER ,OTHER ARTISTS HAS ALSO NAME THEIR SONG AS MANTRA WHY NOT THEM
SHE IS MY BIAS

@Blackangel_blink

One word for the hate by armies "jealousy"
They are jealous cause this song is gonna be the best song of the year!!

@Alittlelifee223

Do not use word karma , sushi , pasta, oppa or any word spoken by any language or culture, seriously people don't get anything against her so they just choose something baseless ??? Bro ' pretty girl mantra ' how did she exploit it ? Jealous jealous jealousy

@hiyapatel7069

I'm indian but still respect Jennie it's ok she probably didn't know and mantra is my new favourite song from Jennie love you Blackpink ❤💗💓💝🩷💖💕✨️🫶
